COPTHORNE SURGERY CLOSURE
Due to staff shortages, we will be closing the Copthorne Branch Surgery as of Monday the 29th of March. The Partners have not made this decision lightly but we feel that this is the best way that we continue to provide our core services to our patients. We have moved to a telephone appointment system for the most part and the GPs or other clinicians working will call you back to discuss your medical issues. We have video consultation capabilities if required and we will see any patients that need a physical examination.
For your safety, please do not come to Practice unless you have a booked appointment. Our phone lines are every busy so we ask patients to consider why they are calling and can their queries be answered in any other way. We have created a Frequently Asked Questions document that will answer many of your queries. Please click on the below link.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
All treatment rooms and doctors’ surgeries are on the ground floor of both surgeries.
There are disabled toilet facilities at Pound Hill Surgery.
Copthorne branch has a ramp up to the main entrance for wheelchair users.
